Nissan Repair: 97 nissan p/u bucking, stalling , and missing, crusing, rotor

97 nissan p/u (standard trans) started stalling and or missing when shifting gears  bucking
also just dosenot feel like a smooth runing eng at crusing speeds (40 to 65)
i noticed problem after last fill up could it be the gas?

Check the distributor for oil on the optics.  Remove the cap, rotor, rotor post and distributor cover and check out the optics and shutter wheel.  If there is oil you found the problem and will need to replace the distributor with a rebuilt unit.
