Nissan Repair: 2002 Maxima codes P0139 and P1147, actron obd ii, hose clamp

Question
I recently purchased an Actron OBD II code reader to help diagnose my Check Engine Light.  The P0139 says O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 slow response and P1147 says air metering.  My question is twofold; can P0139 cause P1147 and does P0139 tell me I have a bad sensor or is there a problem reading it?

Answer
Mike,

These are two unrelated codes as one is on the intake side and the other on the exhaust.  Get an oxygen sensor and replace it.  On the Air metering issue be sure to check that you are not getting unmetered air before you go and replace the air meter.  A loose hose clamp or a cracked hose can give this reading too.
