Trucking: need to know what going rate is, sod cutter, curbmate

I have some eqipment needing to be voluntarly/reposession picked up in Jefferson LA. I ;m with a company out of CO. Need eqipment picked up and stored 1 curbmate machine 1 mortarmixar;1  12 inch sod cutter;1 20foot trailer It;s approxiametely 590 miles from DFW. I have all necessary paperwork. what should i charge

I would obtain a quote or two from an LTL Carrier. Just guessing, it's got to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.25 to 1.50 per mile. I know a guy out of Denver that handles a ton of freight and may have trucks down in LA. Let me know if you would like his number....it's at least a place to start.

In addition, I do not think it's unreasonable for you to charge an admin fee(depending upon how your contract is writtenm, in conjunction with the laws of Co. and La.) for having to set up all this stuff.
