how do i go about fitting this into my 1995 primera

If this is the resistor for the coil you simply remove the old one and replace it.  There is no need to disconnect the battery as long as the key is off when you replace the part.

Now, if this is the resistor for the blower motor you replace the part under the passenger side of the dash.  This one is located on the blower case close to the center.
