Nissan Repair: 1993 maxima fuel injector, distributer cap, emery cloth

Question
I am having problems with a fuel injector on my 1993 Nissan Maxima It all started a week ago, when I would start my car, It would start missing then after a while it would run fine and, then a couple days later it would only miss when I wasnt accelerating, now It misses all the time,so the miss was gradual it started small then got worse and worse to where it is always missing, and It isnt the spark plugs because I replaced them all, and I removed the distributer cap and cleaned all the terminals with some emery cloth. At this point I have done everything possible to make sure I am getting spark, but I have come to the conclusion that It is the fuel infector. I am getting a signal to injector, so you can rule out bad connection, I used a long flat head screw driver as a stethoscope and pressed it to the fuel injector and it was still ticking, but it sounded a little different from all the other injectors, it sounded as though it was ticking harder, and louder than the other injectors, does this mean it is bad or just clogged, because I have used Sea Foam injector cleaner but it didnt seem to work. So what I am asking is will I have to tear my injector out or can running it on an injector cleaner system fix my problem.

Answer
HI Ben,

I feel it's actually a bad plug wire. Careful with using cleaners for fuel injection because they will clog your catalytic converter. You didn't mention if the check engine light was on or not. If it is, this will likely tell you the story.
