Nissan Repair: Seat Belt light, seatbelt light, nissan sentra

I have a Nissan Sentra 2000 and my problem is that the seatbelt light dont go off even if i am wearing my seatbelt. i Tried fasten all the seatbelts in my car but the light remains on. how can i solve the problems?

The seatbelt is defective.  Do not worry about it not working for you.  The problem is the microswitch in it is not opening and that leaves the light on.  You would have to purchase a new seatbelt, the part that the buckle sticks into is where the switch is and that is the problem.  I know that you have a 2000 and it is out of warranty.  You might try a wrecking yard as the dealer is going to charge you about $100 bucks plus labor to change it out.  Wrecking yard is about $25 bucks.
