Nissan Repair: Electrical/fuse problems?, nissan sentra gxe, fuse problems

The horn and PRNDL panel lights are not working on my 1998 Nissan Sentra GXE. Is there a single fuse for this or is this a more complex electrical issue? Thank you for any information you can send my way.

They are two different issues.  First, the shift indicator light is probably only the bulb unless yours is in the cluster and then it could be the shift indicator switch.  I would change the bulb first.  Second, the horn can be checked by the use of a check light to see if it is the horn.  Just unplug the horn and get the test light on the wire and put the clip to ground.  Now, have someone push the horn button.  No light means that you need to check the fuse first and then the relay.  The button almost never goes bad.  If you get a light then replace the horn itself.
