Nissan Repair: Nissan Altima 2001, nissan altima, rubber bushings

Question
Hi,
I just bought 01 Gxe altima it has 71k the care drives smoothly, I heared a lot of positive feedback on the 01 altima.
The car was sitting in the dealers parking lot for 2 months and when i ride over pumps i hear squeezing noise (in the back) like a rubber noise any idea what could be the problem?
Another question what do you think about 01 gxe altima? The car was certified what does that mean?
Thank You

Answer
Ayman,

The squeaking noise is the rubber bushings on the back.  A squirt of WD40 will cancel the noise and it would be fine.  I like the cars and they are excellent to own and to work on.  Certified means that the car was inspected by the dealer.  Most dealers inspect the cars to make sure that there is nothing wrong so they maintain a good reputation and you are better off purchasing from a dealer where there is recourse if there are problems.  Dealers usually sell off problem cars to used car dealers to avoid the problems with defective products.
