Nissan Repair: 92 pathfinder starter removal, starter removal, battery cable

I have the chilton manual for my 92 Pathfinder and I have read the section on removal of the starter.  My pathfinder is the SE-V6 4WD.  I cannot see any way to remove the starter as the manual suggests.  Can you tell me if I am missing something or if the chilton is to vague for the novice.  I really need some advice on removing the starter.

You can take the starter out from the bottom and with extensions it is pretty easy to get to.  Be sure to take the battery cable off first and if you jack up the vehicle be sure to support it with stands and use chocks on the tires.  Yes, the Chiltons is pretty useless on this as is the factory manual.  It is jsut a matter of looking at the starter and getting the tools that will reach the bolts.  Also, be sure not to let the starter dangle from the battery cable so be sure to get it loose before the starter drops.
