Von, I have a 2003 Nissan Altima V6 with 30,060 miles.  My acceleration is sometimes sluggish and at times the engine just shuts off.  I'm usually able to restart it with a little struggle and it'll dive OK until it decides to shut down again.  Nothing electical seems to be affected.  I'll come clean -- I use the "cheap" gas and not the recommended premium.  Could this be causing it?  Any thoughts?  Thanks!

Put in a tank of high test fuel and a bottle of STP gas treatment and see how it does.  On a 2003 there is little else that can go wrong but the injectors getting plugged up.  There is no filter in the tank as they only use a nylon sock.  So, there is a big possibility of trash getting into the injectors.  Check it out and email me back if you still have problems.
