Nissan Repair: 1994 nissan altima runs 30 miles then quits, nissan altima, 240zx

I replaced the distributor and it still runs for around 30 miles or until it gets hot then quits, then after it cools off starts back up and runs good then quits agin and wont start until it cools of

any suggestions.

Check the converter to see if it is plugged up.  I had worked on a 240Zx that had similar problems.  But, be sure that before you change the converter you make sure the engine is in proper tune.  If there is too much fuel going through the engine it will melt the new converter.
