Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1993 Buick LeSabre, Brakes, bleeding

Question
Starting a few months ago, I have been having problems with my brakes stopping my car correctly. I have replaced my pads, shoes, master cylinder, and rear cylinders. I also bled the brakes the last time I worked on them. Currently the pedal goes all the way to the floor, and the car won't stop. But if you pump the brakes, they will eventually start to catch and the car stops just fine, but this is a HUGE problem when faced with a quick stop.

Answer
Hi Cortlin,
The pumping sounds like the rear brakes are not adjusted, but the front pads shoule be working, even if the rears are not.
A new master cylinder is what it sounds like to me, but that's with a small amount of information.
I assume you followed the instructions for bench bleeding the master cylinder before installing it???
That is very important, and don't let friends tell you that any trapped air will work out.
