Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: ECM-ignition problem, haynes manual, fuse block

Question
I have a 1987 Olds Firenza, 4 cyl, 2.0L OHV, VIN 1.  I replaced a coolant fan relay and now the car will not start.  The relay plug was poorly wired and all 5 leads were bare and may have touched during removal.  I repaired the switch, installed everything and now the engine turns over but I don't think it is firing.  The 4 fusible links at the solenoid and the one link at the firewall are okay.  All the fuses in the fuse block are also ok.  The purple/black lead to the ECM is not hot with the key on or off, which according to the Haynes manual is the power lead.  The car ran fine except for the coolingg fan not working before I replaced the relay.  I tested across the links with an Ohm meter set at 1X.  Is this correct or should resistance be higher?  What should I do next?  Thank you very much.

Answer
hi robert.here is what you do,hook your test light to the power wire on the ecm.go back to the relay and power the wires one at a time being careful not to power the black wire.as you power each wire check and see which one turns the test light on .this wire will be plugged into the wrong spot on the relay move it to the location that powers up with key on.ohms setting is ok 1k.please rate my help ty billymac
