I have a 2002 Buick Rendezvous and the odometer is reading ERROR. Has aprox 45,000 mi. How do I reset and what does it mean? Dealer replaced the body control module at 35,000 mi.

this is a compuiter reset try takeing off the pos. calble to the bat. leave off for 5 min this should reset the compuiter and you should be good. let me no hun

***** HI Pete, thanks for answering so quick. The removal of the pos bat cable changed nothing. Odo still reads "error." Might be just dumb luck but now my brakes are squealing. Not related is it? Any other suggestions before I bite the bullet and pay $70 for a diagnostic? Thanks a bunch, Susan

sorry this did not work it will have to be diagnostic test if the battery reset did not work the problem is in the reprogaming of the compuiter . the brakes could be bad pads i would have them checked to please let me know what u find out and u do have a pretty name pete
