Pontiac Repair: 1996 pontiac bonneville sse speedometer, pontiac bonneville sse, digital hvac controls

while driving to work everything on my dashbored meter  went down to zero for a second and went up to normal again, and it happen 3 times in a day yesterday, i'm just wondering if its all electrical or it may effect my engine, is my car safe to drive if that happen???

Did you loose anything else on the car? any other power accy or did it satll out? If the only issue you have is the Dash gauges issue then I would say it's a safe "guess" it's just a bad cluster assembly.. If you loosing othet things like a Blower motor cuts out of the digital HVAC controls or radio wipers etc... You have an electrical issue if not it's just a bad cluster. Good luck :)
