Pontiac Repair: Switch Location, upper radiator hose, pontiac montana

Where is the cooling fan thermostat and/or switch located on a 1999 Pontiac Montana?

Hey Hank:

the coolant sensor is on the lower intake manifold right where the upper radiator hose come off engine it is juat a 2 wire connector on it I belive the wire colors are orange and yellow?. it's pretty easy to get to it just threads into the manifold. if the new sesnor doesn't have an thing on the threads use a bit of teflon tape on the threads of if you have it liquit teflon thread sealer. good luck :)
