i have put a fuel filter, 3 coils, ignition switch, module, compressor, and battery on this car 2000 3.8 but when i go more than 10 miles and it cuts off and after sitting 20 minutes or better it will crank and go another 10 what next/ u can hear the fuel pump come on pumping so what could it be

My guess would be a crankshaft position sesnor. That is the main input to the ignition module to allow the engine to have spark to run. They are pretty common on that engine as a failed part. if when it quits running it's like someone just turned the key off. That would be what I would look at. If it bucks chugs and spits beofre it dies out I would look at a fuel related issue. A bad fuel pump that quits running of looses it's prime or is low on pump pressure. Good luck and happy holidays :)
