Question
The air conditioning in the car will not blow cool last year I charged the system and that got me through the season. So this time I checked and the gauge shows the system is charged adequately. But I noticed the condenser is not kicking on. I don't know what to do next. Can I test it or should I try replacing it ??  anyway if you could help It would be greatly appreciated thanks   Oh the is a v-6  I think 3.1 liter

Hi.
I would check to make sure the compressor coil is getting power when the switch is turned on.
If so, then I would double check the pressures and if there is proper freon charge, then you MAY have a faulty compressor.
If not getting power to compressor then there are various switches (high side and low side) that may be at fault.
Best advice with A/C system is to take it to a Nationwide Repair chain (Meineke, Midas, Pepboys, Firestone, etc...) and get it checked out. MOST of these offer a free A/C System check, so you could see what is going on before sinking $$$$ into it.
