Pontiac Repair: car wont start, fuel pump filter, wifes car

Question
I got in my wifes car this morn, took the kids to school, ran fine.then when she got in to go to work,it wouldn't start.Just had the fuel pump, filter replaced(about 2 mos ago),& I hooked up my pressure guage,& have around 50 PSI fuel pressure,so I think fuel is OK?.
It is a 2002 Pontiac grand AM SE with 3.4L V-6 engine.what should I check next?
Thanks,
\Chad

Answer
Next thing to check is if you have spark. You can do this by using a HEI spark checker or (not as accurate as to spark intensity) an old spark plug, be careful though DIS ignition systems have quite a kick (I know this for a fact ;-) also check the timing belt. Let me know the results.
