RV Repair: Slider, hydraulic rams, slider

Question
While letting out slider we neglected to see a cabinet door jam into the slider therefore adding stress to the slide. Now notice the slide is tracking too far to one side in fact too close to the rubber sweep it is damaging it....can we adjust ourselves....07 Wildwood LE model...thanks

Tom, I really don't know what to tell you with this one. The slide out is adjustable and it is done from under the outside where it attaches to the slide mechanism. There should be bolts holding it on and in place, but if you have moved it in and out a few times and it has not gone back to where it should you might be better off taking it to a repair shop where they know what way to adjust the room. There are many different types out today. Take a look at the slide and if you want to adjust it let me know what it looks like under there and what type of slide it is. Like do you see teeth or gears or is it run by hydraulic rams. I hope this helps, Bill
