i purchased the trailer new June of 2001,and maintain it very well, now i do use a product called simple green to wash down the vinyl, now my problem is that i have one area above the king sized bed that the vinyl is cracking feels like it is drying out. now would a dubbin or saddle soap help and is there a temporary fix for now and permanent one later that looks ok. or i guess just replace the canvas. oh by the way i believe the vinyl is a kavlar or something like that anyway. i live in delta British Columbia Canada do you know a good and reasonable company that i could get the canvas replaced

Gary, I don't know of anything that will bring back the vinyl and the best thing I can suggest is for you to replace it. You can get a carefree universal awning canvas for around $200.00 and it will take about 1 1/2 hours to replace it. I hope this helps, Bill
