RV Repair: Leveler Ignition Lockout, fleetwood rv, chevy p30

Question
RE: 1990 Fleetwood Southwind 33' Class A RV; Chevy P30 Chassis

I just purchased a used Fleetwood RV which is equipped with a Quadra Leveling System.  It seems that the Quadra ignition lockout feature of the leveling system is functioning backwards.  The chassis ignition switch will only operate the engine starter if at least one of the levelers is lowered enough to switch that leveler position indicator from green (fully retracted) to red (somewhat extended).  If all the levelers are fully retracted, I can only start the engine using the remote start feature of the leveler system.

Can you give me some idea where to look for the cause of this reverse operation?

Thanks!!
Steve

Answer
That could be a good question, but usually it is somewhere at the main panel for the levelers and the switch may have several wires connected to it. You will need to find the wire that gets hot in both directions and reverse them. If this is not where the trouble is feel free to let me know and I will start you through the next place you may want to look. Thanks, Bill
