RV Repair: Slide Out comes in half way and stops, rubber seals, dry lube

Question
Our hydraulic slide out will come half way in and stops. You can tell something is binding as the hydraulic motor binds down like it is pushing hard. On both sides and the top, there is no obvious obstruction as I can push my fingers through the rubber seals. Is there some rollers on the bottom that may need adjusted to "lift" the slideout more. (it has been sitting OUT for the last couple months). This is a 2007 Magellan 38E WH. Thank you

Answer
Hi Dennis
All slide outs need to be lubricated a couple of times a season. Protect-all Dry Lube is what I use. Its a spay that you use on all the moving parts underneath.  That will sure help
And the sound you hear may be the pump motor laboring because its out of fluid.
Sounds like your describing a hydraulic system that is low on oil and does not have enough volume to finish "pushing" itself back in.
You can use regular ATF.
