RV Repair: REFERS, repair suggestions, thermister

IT'S ME AGAIN---THRU YOUR INFO AND DOMETIC'S INFO I REPLACED THE THERMISTER AND LOWER BOARD ON A RM 2652 TO PREVENT THE LOWER FROM FREEZING.....SAME PROBLEM (IT STAYS AROUND 30 )...DOMETIC NOW IS SENDING ME A BOARD TO BOARD HARNESS, WHICH THEY HAD NEVER MENTIONED BEFORE !!  MY CUSTOMER IS AS FRUSTRATED AS I AM AND WANTS A NEW FRIDGE !!  IN YOUR EXPERIENCES, DOES DOMETIC EVER REPLACE AFTER ALL OF THEIR REPAIR SUGGESTIONS HAVE NOT WORKED ?  JUST WANTING YOUR OPINION, PLEASE  !!

   If the unit is under warranty they might replace it, just depends on what mood they are in.  Is the thermister attached to the correct fin in the lower cabinet?  The further towards the right on the fins you go the colder it is so you might be able to move it that way some and fool it into thinking it is colder than it really is so it turns off quicker.  I haven't heard of a board to board harness so I'm not quite sure what they are sending unless its the harness to the eyebrow board.  I can sympathize with both you and your customer, we have had some trying times getting the right part to fix appliances also.  I wish you luck.
