RV Repair: Onan Marquis 5.5 generator, onan marquis, filter air

Question
Was out on a recent camping trip, used the generator and worked fine the entire trip until the last day. My son had the generator on for an hour or so, then shut it down when he was finished using it.  We went to start it again a bit later and NOTHING.  It won't crank or turn over.  We tried the switch on the generator and NOTHING. Brand new fuel filter, oil filter, air filter.  Still nothing.  Any ideas what it may be? I'm thinking something electrical...but don't know for sure.

Have you ck'ed for 12vdc at the gen itself..the big red wire??
If you have 12.8 or higher at the gen and still nothing, see if can reach the starter..should be on the left in the back...you won't see it without a mirror.
I've known starter to fail and sometimes to get stuck in the ring-gear and not turn over. I don't recommend it but after disconnecting the battery, I have gotten the motor to turn with my hand (stupid) and it freed up the starter.
