QUESTION: My rooftop unit when on the heat setting goes off after a while and wont come back on. Sometimes it wont come on to start with.What could cause this? It is a heat pump unit.

Sorry It took so long to get back to you.Our power has been out for five days.
Those heat pump units are fairly complex and not recommended for service by unqualified repair persons. I think you need to take it in to a service center.
