RV Repair: Jayco roof wood repair, diamond plate, visible evidence

Question
My 94 Jayco 1406 has rotted wood on the side portions of the roof.  The top seems fine although all the caulk is cracked.  The is no visible evidence of damage inside.  It just seems to be the sidewalls of the roof and the back wall on the pop up.   1.  How do I take the roof apart to fix this rotted wood?  2. How do I get to the back wall of the camper to replace that wood.  It has vinyl over the back.  I can't seem to find anything on the internet.  Thanks

Answer
Hi Corey, I am not sure how to direct you to do this repair. I would have to see it and access the job. I say rip into it and replace what needs replaced. Then recover the area with chrome diamond plate. If roof needs recalked use proper sealant. Clean roof before you reseal. Good Luck.
