RV Repair: Norcold, Refrigerator, heating element, extension cord

Stopped cooling suddenly, have checked all fuses.the control panel on front shows to be working on AC or gas. gas will lite and burn.  no tell tell signs of leakage from cooling agent.  got any ideas?

    To hook the heating element directly to a power source can be done a # of different ways.  I have an old extension cord with connectors that will plug into the heating element once it is unplugged from the control board.  I simply pull the 2 wires loose from the circuit board, plug them into my cord and then plug the cord into power.
