RV Repair: Tent trailer roof replacement, dutchmen tent trailer, air pockets

Question
I own a 1995 Dutchmen tent trailer. When I noticed the vinyl material on the roof rise (like air pockets), I immediately removed and recocked all seams thinking it would prevent further damage. I've noticed that the roof is now caving in from the outside but there is no visible damage from the inside (except that the ceiling in one area is softer to the touch than the rest but not sagging). What are your thoughts and recommendations? Is it worth fixing? If so, who does this work and what are the estimates? What would be the best material to use? Looking forward to your response.

Answer
It's hard for me to tell, without actually seeing the problem. If it is a rubber roof you are talking about, then bubbles are normal for that.
It sounds as if there might have been a small leak for a long time, causing the plywood to rot.
You can do it yourself. Just make sure you are careful when you start taking it apart. Go slowly and make note of where things have to go when you put it back together.
As far as what material to use, try to replace it with what was original.
