RV Repair: Water dammage to floor, wafer board, wanderer by thor

Question
I have a 2002 Wanderer by Thor. Extensive water dammage to the floor, caused by a leak from the refrigerator flue occured over a long period of time. Approximately 1/3 of the flooring will need to be replaced.
Two Questions:
1) There is a manual slide. How is it removed.

2) the walls sit on top of wet moldy wafer board. The flooring material (wafer board and staples) will have to be removed from between the wall plate and the floor structure. After this is removed how is the wall refastened to the new flooring.

Answer
Hi Tom:
Do not envy you this job. The slide is pushed out as far as possible then strapped and lifted, large forklift would do. Have done this and it is a pain.
The floor and wall are constructed as one piece and lowered on the frame. Changing part of the floor is also a real job. I have done this before also and the best way I found was to remove the old floor, cut the staples or screws, flush, then work the new flooring under the wall and fasten them together with 1/8" 1 1/2" aluminum angle. You can make it look nice if you take your time. There is no easy way un;less you pay somebody to do it. Just finding somebody to do this job will be tough and it will be costly. Good luck.
