Question
I am having real difficult time replacing my fan belt..  I can't figure out how to get the belt around the tensioner pulley..  Is there a special tool I need to use?  I would appreciate any help you can give me... Thanks (I'm without a car)
Tom

Answer
Hi Thomas. If your tensioner pulley is the same as mine, you may need to loosen it a lot to get the belt on, or you may have to jack up the car, remove the front right wheel, remove the fenderliners, and then you have really easy access to the side of the engine where the belts lurk. This is what I do, it takes about 2 hours start to finish, but at least you can get at the #%&@! thing. I presume you mean the serpentine belt, and not the A/C belt.
