Saturn Repair: 2000 Saturn LS1 AC Hose Replacement, thermal expansion valve, saturn ls1

Question
QUESTION: I have a 2000 Saturn LS1 and the ac hoses need replacing. I was able to fully disconnect the hoses including clamps but I'm at a standstill as to how to get the hoses out and slide the new ones in. I could easily cut the old hoses into smaller pieces and get them out but this doesn't help me get the new ones in. Am I going to have to remove the motor mounts or lower the cradle to complete this repair?

ANSWER: From the diagrams I have, it says that there are several clips that need to be removed. Which line are you having the issue with? Is it the thick line (low pressure) or the skinny line (high pressure? Thanks.I'll be able to give you a clearer idea of what needs to be done.

QUESTION: Actually it's both lines, they are connected together by the mounting bracket for where they go into the firewall, so you have to replace them both at the same time:(.
