B&S model 195437 do you know where I can get a short block? being old I cannot find one not even on ebay came off a troy bilt horse tiller,

Answer
Those carburetors on those engines tend to wear out as well as the rest of the engine.  The Horse is a really good tiller.  

Have you considered replacing the whole engine?  It is a little more money, much less work, but in the long run a brand new engine will give you a good return on your investment.

What is the type and code number of your engine?
