Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Chinese Mower Engines, toro snow throwers, briggs and stratton

Hello,  I am just curious.  Are Briggs and Stratton making engines in China now?

Yes,  The last time I visited the Briggs and Stratton Factory they were making the Horizontal 6.5 hp shaft engines there and the 2 cycle engine for the Toro Snow throwers in China.   They have a state of the art facility there that is only second to KOHLER. Some parts are shipped in from the USA but in most cases the components are made for the engines in China
