Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn mower tractor wont start, pto safety, v twin

hey Ben i have a 1998 craftsman tractor with a Kohler pro v twin 23 hrs power engine for some reason it will not start. model 917.275021
ser- 12040a009767. we checked everything nut just cant seem to get it going we found that the spark plugs will not create a spark. i know usually the coil dont go bad so what can it be that wont give the spark

have you checked all the safety switch's? These will cause the engine not to start,also check power at your key switch to make sure power is getting everywhere it is supposed to. I have included a wiring harness with switches in red. There are also a deck switch and a PTO safety switch. Check each one by  by-passing the switch with a small aper clip so you can put clip in the female terminals.
