Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): kholer 19 1/2 hp, lawn tractor, ryobi

Hi im rick .Ihave a riding lawn tractor ryobi with a kholer motor n it has been running very well . but until today i started it up n it smoke very heavy so i shut it off ck oil n there was alot of gas in it what could cause this . is it easy to fix thank you rick

This is caused by the needle in the carburetor not seating. It could be a small piece of debris holding it open allowing the fuel to run through the carburetor and into the engine. If you have any basic knowledge of carburetors, it's fairly simple to take apart and either clean or replace the needle.
