Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): blade adaptor removal, craftsman model, self propelled mower

Question
I have a craftsman model number 917-378070 22" self propelled mower. I need to change the v-belt. I am trying to remove the blade adaptor. This thing is "stuck". I have sprayed with Blaster PB and attached a wheel puller to it, with no luck. I don't see any pins or screws. Whats your suggestion?

Answer
Hello Wayne:

>>From your Description it Sounds like you are Going to have to Apply Heat to the Blade Adapter while Pressure is Applied to the Adapter with the Wheel Puller.
>>When Attaching the Blade Adapter to the Crankshaft; be Sure to Use Never Seize on the Crankshaft. This will Prevent the Problem you are having in the Future when the Blade Adapter has to be Removed.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
