Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): white smoke 30 riding murray, white smoke, riding mower

Hello, I have a 30" murray select riding mower that has been in my shed for about a month. I started it today and white smoke came out of the exhaust, then it died. I noticed oil coming out of the exhaust also. Gas was dripping from the air filter as well. Do you have any idea what the problem is? Thank's for any help.

Carburetor inlet needle leaked filling the crankcase with gas.  Does the oil smell like gas?  Is the oil level over filled?  If so, then the inlet needle/seat is the problem.  I would replace both and install a fuel shut-off valve so the problem never happens again.
Make sure you change and re-fill the oil!!!
