how do i line up the counter weight gear with the crankshaft gear when there is no timing marks on the gears?

Hello Peter:

Normally when you Align the Cam and Crankshaft Timing Marks, the Counter Weight Mark will Almost Align with the Counter Weight Mark. If No Marks are Present, then Align the Crankshaft Weights so they are 180 Degrees from the Counter Weight when you Align the Gears.
