Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): go kart engine conversion (briggs and strat 3 horse), throttle linkage, accelerator cable

Question
I do not know how to attach a gas pedal to this little briggs and strat to make it
a go cart instead f  a tiller? can you help?

Answer
Hello Vito:

If you Do Not have the Go-Cart Throttle Linkage, then the Accelerator Cable End Attaches to a Spring that is Attached to the Governor Arm. The Throttle Control Bracket and Linkage are Not Used for Go-Cart Applications. The Accelerator Cable Pulls the Spring, then Spring Pulls the Governor Arm and the Governor Arm Pulls the Throttle Linkage to the Carburetor. The Spring at the Governor Arm is Used to Prevent Engine Over Rev. The Spring Tension Determines the Engines Max RPMs. Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
