Answer
Your carburetor overflowed and gasoline ran into the crankcase the crankcase overfilled because of this and it poured into the cylinder.  When you remove the the spark plug pulled the rope you were pumping the substance out of the combustion chamber.  This could have come from simply typing the engine on its side with fuel in the tank or the carburetor needs to be cleaned.  To clean the carburetor remove it disassemble it use the wire from a wire tie to clean every air and fuel passage and blowout with carburetor cleaner or compressed air.  Purchase a carburetor kit from a dealer and new mounting gaskets install the kit and mount using the new gaskets.  I think this should solve your problem.  The engine will smoke very heavily until the oil is burned out of the muffler the only way to stop that would be to replace the muffler.  Good luck on your project
