Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): motor swop, small engines, swop

Are there any manuals around that tell what B&S motors you can swop out with out major changes?

Hello Donald:

No there are No Manuals to Assist you in this. The reason is Due to the Fact that Most Small Engines (No Matter who the OEM is) Will Interchange with Little to No Changes as Long as the Crankshaft Length and Diameter are the Same and the Mounting Holes Match. Usually if you are Changing to the Same HP or a SLIGHTLY Higher/Lower HP; then 95% of the Time there are Few if Any Changes to be Made.
