Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Paulo pro trimmer kaw td40, lawn mower engines, professional bicycle

Question
I have this trimmer that I want to convert to a scooter for my child. I have been a professional bicycle frame builder, so the frame is solid, will the engine be big enough for a small person to go fairly slow?

Thanks!
Jeremy

Answer
Hello Jeremy:

I have Built Several Scooters and have Always Used Chainsaw or Lawn Mower Engines for the Power Plants. If the Scooter is Small Enough and the Person that will be Riding the Scooter Does Not Weight much, then a Trimmer Engine Should Perform Well. Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. Example: PP036, PP110, ect. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
