Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Homelite leaf blower Vac Attack Zip Start, walbro carburetor, reed valve

Question
I have a homelite blower vac that I can not start.  Model number is UT08107 - S/N ME3101092 - Disp 25cc might be made in 2002.  Looks like it gets allot of fuel around the carburetor when I try starting it.  I am getting spark, had the carburetor apart cleaned it in carb cleaner needle valve wasn't stuck, the gaskets look ok,Had the flywheel off and the key and keyway looked ok, and adjusted the one needle valve to 1-1/2 turn's out. Did notice when I took the carburetor apart the two gaskets that are next to each other the one with the reed valve was the further's away from the intake and exhaust holes.  So I switched them around where the reed valve on the gasket were next to the holes then it would run at Idle for one time, and that was it. Would you have a diagram of the carburetor apart with the gaskets in the order they should be in.  I would appreciate any suggestions if any.    Thank You

Answer
Hello Richard:

Sorry for the Delay; I am on Vacation and just Happened to Look in the Question Pool. Remove the Muffler and Inspect the Exhaust Port for Carbon Blocking the Exhaust Port. Check the Muffler and Spark Arrestor Screen (in the muffler) for Blockage Also. If the Exhaust Port or Muffler and Screen are Clogged, the Engine Can Not Draw Gas Into the Cylinder Properly and you will have the Problem you Described. If this is a Walbro Carburetor, then You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Carburetor at this Site Addy, http://69.16.165.8/ and Select Service & Aftermarket. Now Select Aftermarket Parts and Service. Now Select the OEM (Ryobi). Now Select Trimmer. Now Select your Carburetor (WT-340) from the List Provided. I Require the OEM (Walbro, Zama, ect) and the Model Numbers Off the Carburetor. With these I can Locate a Breakdown of the Carburetor and Better Assist you. I Return from Vacation on 1/4/08. You can View a Breakdown of this Equipment at this Site Addy; http://www.homelite.com/parts/index.htm and Select Parts/Service at left, then Select Go to Homelite Parts Store. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Have a Happy Holiday Season and May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
