Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): belt removal/change belt, clutch cable, assembly drawings

Question
QUESTION: Gday, I have a snapper rear engine and I need to replace the belt. Can you please tell me how I can go about doing that, for example do I need to remove anything to get the belt off ?.I only recently got this mower and I am unfamiliar with them. Any help is appreciated. Dave

ANSWER: Hello David:

Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. On Some Model Snappers, you can Replace the Belt with Little to No Problems and on Others you have to Loosen or Remove the Driven Disc and Clutch Cable to Allow for the Belt to Pass Between the Driven Disc and the Drive Disc. Thanks.

Answer
Hello Again Dave:

You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/default.cfm and Select Start Parts Viewer. Now Enter the Model Numbers. Now Select View Assembly Drawings. The Breakdown Shows this Model to be a Mid-Size Walk Behind Traction Drive Mower. The Belt Replacement should be Simple. Look at the Axle Assembly Breakdown. This Shows the Pulley and Belt at the Frame. You Need to Loosen or Remove the Belt Guards and a Belt Cover, but the Replacement should be Simple. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Have a Happy Holiday Season and May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
