Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): ignition switch color code, briggs and stratton, starter switch

Hi John,
It's Jeff again, the one who asked about ignition color coding. the link the you gave me shows the color of the wires but it did not show me which color goes to the five leg behind the ignition switch. if you can give a site that shows which color wire goes to the Ground, Battery, Magneto, Light, and Starter (the five leg of the starter switch) I would really appreciate it. My Mower model again is 400707 by briggs and stratton.

Hello Again Jeff:

Remove the Ign Switch and look Beside the Legs. Usually each Leg has a Letter Beside it. The Letter Should Match the Color of the Wire that is Attached to it. I have Not Located a Site that Shows the Blade Where each Wire Attaches. R for Red, Y for Yellow and ect.
