We bought a brand new lawn mower with a B&S engine. Used it no more than 6 times and a corner of the engine block cracked and broked off. Oil spewed all over the drive way. What can be the cause of the failure.

Send me the Model and Type Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. However, There are Several Reasons this May have Happened. 1- The Internal Balancer (if this model has one) May have Loosened and Caused More Vibration than the Mounting Bolts Could Handle. 2- The Mounting Bolts were Not Tightened Properly when the Mower was Assembled. The Model Numbers will Assist me to Assist you. Thanks.
