Answer
Hello Bud:

You can View a Breakdown of the Transaxle at this Site Addy; http://www.m-and-d.com/dana_foote_parts.html and Scroll Down to the View Dana/Foote Parts Diagram Window. Now Scroll Down in this Window to your Model Transaxle and Select it. In the Breakdown, Locate #60. This is the Brake Adjustment Nut. The Number 49 is the Brake Puck (pad) Spacers and the Number 50 is the Brake Pucks (pads). Snug the Nut #60 and then Reverse 1/4 Turn. Now Operate the Mower and Adjust as Required. To View a Breakdown of the Mower; Go to this Site Addy, http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp and Select Shop Online Parts Look Up. Then Select the Model Tab. Then Select the OEM (Murray) and Enter the Model Numbers (30577X8A). Then Double Click on your Model in the Results Area. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
