This is not an engine problem, but perhaps you can help anyway.
I need to remove the augers on the subject. After unbolting the end bearings, how do I disengage augers from their shafts?
Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

Hello Ed:

No Worries. I Work on the Complete Equipment, Not Just the Engines. Usually, Heat and Plenty of Spray Lubrication is Required for First Time Removal. I Use PB Rust Catalyst and Liquid Wrench and Soak the Auger and Shaft Several Times Over 24hrs. Then Using a Small Propane Torch, Heat the Auger Along the Shaft and Tap the Auger Along the Shaft to Loosen the Rust and Dirt. Then Repeat the Process Until the Auger Slides Off the Shaft. You can Also Attach a Bearing Puller to the Auger and Apply Pressure Between the Shaft and Auger while Heating and Tapping. If this Does Not Work, Then you will Require a Real Torch and High Heat to Expand the Auger Away from the Shaft. Allow the Shaft and Auger to Air Cool 24 Hours Before Reassemby if High Heat is Used. When Reassembling, Clean All Components of Rust and Dirt. Use Never Seize on the Shaft to Help Prevent the Shaft and Auger from Seizing Again.
