Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro Snowthrower, toro snowthrower, float bowl

Question
I have a Toro Snowthrower model# is HSK635 2 cycle Tecumseh engine.  I'm having problems with the carburetor and choke setting.  When the choke is fully engaged it runs, but when I turn off the choke it dies out.  I attempted to clean the carburetor the best I could without soaking it overnight with carb cleaner.  Is there an easy fix to adjusting the choke or is it more labor intensive?

Answer
You have a restricted main jet in your carburetor.  I believe if i remember correctly on that engine is a float style carburetor.  The main jet will be incorporated into the nut that screws into the bottom of the float bowl.  You can clean it out with spray carburetor cleaner and compressed air.
